GentleSort Terms of Use
Please read these terms, especially the sections about Photos access and deletion, before using GentleSort.

These terms are between you and 厦门深二科技有限公司 (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your use of the GentleSort iOS app, website, and help content.
2. Service
GentleSort provides on-device photo browsing, small review rounds, Keep and Let Go decisions, a pre-deletion review list, round summaries, and Apple Shortcuts actions. Available features depend on the version installed on your device.
3. Photos access and your control
You decide whether to grant Photos access and whether that access is full or limited. GentleSort does not bypass Apple’s permission system. Features that require real photos will not work after access is revoked.
4. Important deletion notice
GentleSort shows the deletion list and asks for confirmation inside the app and through an iOS system prompt. Review the list carefully and back up important photos when appropriate. Apple’s Photos app controls retention, recovery, and permanent deletion after an item moves to Recently Deleted.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use GentleSort or this website to violate applicable laws, compromise software security, bypass system permissions, disrupt normal operation, or infringe the rights of others.
6. Intellectual property
Rights in the GentleSort software, interface, text, and brand assets belong to us or their respective owners. Photos and other content on your device remain yours or the property of their original rights holders.
7. Service changes
We may update features or these terms for product improvements, system compatibility, or legal requirements. Material changes affecting your rights will be explained in an appropriate place in the app or on this website.
8. Responsibility
We take reasonable steps to maintain app stability, but device state, Photos permissions, storage, and iOS versions may affect operation. Responsibility for a confirmed deletion, system failure, or event outside reasonable control will be determined under applicable law. Nothing in this section limits rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be limited.
